Noise Report & Planning Permission for Mosque Extension in Kingsland Road, London

A large and well-known mosque located on Kingsland Road sought to expand its facilities with a substantial new accommodation extension. Opened in 1999 and visited by King Charles III at the time, the mosque serves a busy and growing community.

To secure planning consent, the project required a professional environmental noise report to satisfy Local Authority planning requirements.

The Challenge

The proposed extension required approval from the Local Planning Authority. Due to the urban location and surrounding residential environment, planners requested evidence that the development would not create unacceptable noise impact.
